The Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum is and has been engaged in a number of initiatives focused around our mission for a number of years. Our organization has a proven track record of making an impact in the Hampton Roads region and throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. A few of the ways we connect with our community are below.

Save Our Men

Hampton Roads Prostate Cancer Virtual Disparity and Early Detection Summit

The Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum is planning a new virtual event for February 2021 which will address important issues related to racial disparities in Prostate Cancer treatment and fatalities as well as the importance and need for early detection. The Forum will partner with Riverside Health System and numerous other organizations to produce this first-of-its-kind, live-streamed, 4 week series on consecutive Mondays in February 2021.

Annual Early Detection and Awareness Event

Near the beginning of each new year, the Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum works with numerous community partners to host a large regional prostate Cancer awareness and early detection event that features presenters, screenings, etc.

Paint the Region Blue

Annual Awareness Campaign

June is Men’s Health Month and every June, the Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum engages in the Paint the Region Blue campaign, where our goal is to distribute as many blue ribbons across the Hampton Roads Region as possible.
